Owase is the CEO of Ovic Lafaz’es and a graduated from Kwara state polytechnic
Ilorin with HND in Public Administration, the secrete behind her makeup is that
she chooses colors from what her client is wearing, like the blouse, shirt or
accessories to match. She have been in the make-up job for many years and in
dealing with a client, she said she could actually let a job go when client
refuse to recognize the reason for the charges.
“My greatest
challenges so far is the fact that we have quack make-up artist on rampage in
town, they feel it's just all about drawing with pencils and they charge
ridiculous amount all in the name of having
a job at the week end, we at Ovic Lafaz’es are unique because we render
great services to our clients, we are make-up artist with the professional
touch that gives that glowing effect that makes our clients want to come back
even after ceremonies, we simply exceed our clients expectations.
My worse
moment on the job so far was this occasion when I was not able to do my thing,
I tried everything, but my hands were not just moving, I totally lost focus and
I ended up messing up the whole thing, the head tie (gele) was something else,
it wasn’t funny. My advice for upcoming makeup artist is that they should be
focus and committed to whatever their hands find doing.
